Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to bring a mat?

We have 2 types of mats at the Studio: thicker pilates mats, and more traditional sticky yoga mats, which we wipe down at the end of each class. You are welcome to use our mats free of charge, or if you prefer to bring your own mat, that is okay too.

What class should I start with?

If you are new to Pilates we require starting in a beginner or all level class.  We require 10 beginner/all level classes before taking an intermediate class.  We require 10 intermediate classes before taking an advanced class.  Feel free to talk with your teacher if you are interested in advancing sooner.

What do I wear?

Please wear form-fitting clothing that will comfortably allow your body to move and stretch freely. We exercise barefoot in the classroom, so you do not need any special kind of footwear or socks.

Where do I park?

We have a free parking lot underneath our NW location and there is plenty of free on street parking all around our SE location.

Do you have a changing room?

We have two curtained changing rooms in our main lobby and a private bathroom just down the hall.

Do I have to sign in for classes?

When you arrive for class you will see a sign in sheet on the front desk. Please sign in before each class or initial next to your printed name if you have reserved in advance.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of class and if you cannot do so, call us. If you are NOT here early and don’t call to let us know you’re coming your space will be given to the next person in line once class begins.
