Gabe discovered Pilates after an he suffered an injury while participating in Strength Camp Training, a program led by a coach and designed to accompany athletics built around structure, strength, speed, and silence. Although he loved the workout, he took a fall during hurdle jumps and broke the radial bone in his arm. After completing physical therapy, Gabe decided to try Pilates to re-align the imbalances his injury had caused, not only in his arm, but how it had affected the rest of his body. Since beginning his Pilates practice, Gabe not only recovered from the broken arm, but he fell in love with Pilates and began noticing increases in his vitality, energy level, strength, functional movement, mind-body awareness, posture, and even his self-esteem.

Away from the Studio, Gabe is a student at PSU studying race, gender, sexuality, history, and philosophy. In his free time he loves hanging out with his family and friends, enjoying the city, and exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
